Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer EMT Fire Response Driver in Peoria, IL. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a manufacturing and industrial site, applying EMT skills and fire response training to keep people safe.

The role requires a valid EMT certification, firefighting experience, and a valid driver’s license; prior customer service experience is preferred, with a daytime schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Job Description

As a Security Officer EMT Fire Response Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
