Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Guard Customer Service Patrol in Zeeland, MI. You will provide customer service and security for a manufacturing site, conducting patrols, monitoring alarms, and responding to incidents to deter unauthorized activity.

The role emphasizes clear communication, computer or tablet use, and teamwork within a caring, reliable security team. This full-time position offers a schedule Mon–Fri with evening shifts and a starting pay rate of $18.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with enforcement of site policies related to access control, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security‑related concerns. This customer‑focused role uses clear communication and computer or tablet skills while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity‑driven team.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

• Mon - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
