GardaWorld Security is seeking a Security Guard – Construction Patrol in San Jose, CA for a full-time schedule. You will patrol sites, verify access, and respond to incidents to ensure safety and security.

The role requires a state security license and 32-hour BSIS trainings, with eligibility for additional trainings during onboarding. GardaWorld offers medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with matching, disability coverage, life insurance, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• State security license and BSIS 32-hour trainings required (more trainings can be obtained during hiring)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
