Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in the United States. You will patrol various environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, reading the scene, anticipating risk, and acting to keep people and property safe.

The role requires high vigilance, the ability to move throughout shifts, and readiness to collaborate with law enforcement when needed. GardaWorld offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within a global security

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s In It For You

• Shift - Must have weekend availability every weekend!
  • 1st shift:
    • 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 2nd shift:
    • 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • 3rd shift:
    • 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Competitive hourly wage of $20.20 - $22.00 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for most of your shift.
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
