Job summary

Circle-the-Cit in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated unarmed security guard under the supervision of the Security Supervisor to monitor the premises, follow POST Orders, and assist with dorms, logs, and incident reporting to ensure safety for staff and clients.

The role requires 21+ years, strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and at least 1 year of security experience, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Minimum 1 year of Security Guard Experience
• Healthcare facility experience highly preferred
• Current Arizona Department of Safety Clearance Card and/or Guard Card
• Able to pass county/federal background checks and pre-employment drug testing (5-panel)

Responsibilities

• Transition from Day to Night shift and/or Night to Day shift
• Bag check and Bag storage
• Assist in Dorm Cleaning
• Searches of Dorms
• Premise patrol
• Building business hours closing procedures
• Patient Head Counts
• Maintain Vehicle Key check out/in logs
• Maintain Storage logs
• Maintain the Hot Box log
• Assist as a member of the Emergency Operations Team
• Maintain the safety and security of the building, staff, and clients
• Complete and turn in Incident Reports
• Other Duties as defined in the POST Orders

Summary of Position:Under the supervision and oversight of the Security Supervisor with matrixed responsibility to the Program Managers and the Facilities Manager, the guard will follow the site POST Orders and any additional direction as given by the site Program Manager, Security Supervisor, and Facilities Manager.
