Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Armed Patrol Badge Verification in Jacksonville, FL for a part-time role. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms at a financial institution.

The schedule includes Wed 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, with pay of $18.00 per hour. You will maintain logs, verify credentials, and uphold firearms policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories considered under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATMs, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following all applicable laws, client procedures, and Allied Universal policies regarding firearms and use of force.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
