Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Guard Armed - Access Credentials in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
