Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and passengers at an airport location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges and authorization for entry.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at posts and report unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation and emergency procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and passengers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, identification, badges, and authorization for entry into restricted areas in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at assigned posts, document visitor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, terminal-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
