Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Control in Golden, CO to provide frontline security at a chemical and petrochemical facility. You will manage access, greet visitors, issue badges, and maintain logs while delivering professional customer service and safety-first operations.

You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site personnel under established procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access at the front desk, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and direct guests according to established protocols.
• Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and communicate routine and urgent information to appropriate site personnel.
• Observe entry areas and security-related systems, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Pay Rate: $24.34 / Hour

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
