As a Security Officer - Full Time - Access Controlin Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers through collaboration.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, processing areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control systems, visitor activity, and vehicle entry/exit in accordance with site requirements; maintain accurate logs and complete required reports.
• Communicate promptly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
