Role Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor, assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests
• Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility/building
• Monitor the environment to detect suspicious and unsafe activity
• Familiarize with incoming and outgoing traffic, know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guests
• Greet individuals professionally
• Answer phones professionally
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances/exits
• Enforce facility policies and procedures within the scope of the role
• Perform patrols of designated areas on foot or vehicle
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal
• Follow emergency procedures
• Monitor alarms and security systems
• Prepare reports on incidents and suspicious activities

Minimum Requirements

• State or municipality security officer license
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Security guard license or ability to obtain one promptly
• Reliable communication and transportation means
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional appearance
• Ability to write routine reports and logs
• Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service is helpful

Compensation and Schedule

Hourly pay rate of $19.00, with benefits including health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K.

Schedule: Mon-Tues 12am-8am & Thu-Fri 4pm-12am
