Plastipak Packaging, Inc. seeks a Security Guard in Jackson Center, OH to support the security manager and uphold our high-quality standards and team culture.

The role offers 12-hour shifts (6am–6:10pm) on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include patrolling, controlling access for employees and visitors, and coordinating with authorities during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patrolling the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensure security checks of doors, windows and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors to guard against theft and maintain site safety.
• Call applicable authorities in case of emergency.
