Job description

Security Solutions of Texas is hiring part‑time non‑commissioned and commissioned security officers (Card + Gear required). The position is available part‑time or full‑time and requires the ability to work some weekend shifts.

Special Consideration

Special consideration is given to candidates from the law enforcement, firefighter, military, or high‑threat security communities.

Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent observational abilities, and the capacity to remain calm in high‑pressure situations while maintaining patience and superb attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Observe, report, and deter theft and other criminal activity at client locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (recommended).
• Security guard Level II or Level III State Guard Card.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary.
• Reliable transportation.

Pay

• Level II, Non‑Commissioned (Unarmed) – $17.00 per hour.
• Level III, Commissioned (Armed) – $18.00 per hour.
• Level IV with Level III – commensurate with experience.
