Job summary

Security Solutions of Texas is hiring an experienced Security Officer to protect the client and assigned property from criminal activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, observational skills, and must be able to handle high-pressure situations.

Applicants should be at least 21 years old, hold a TX-DPS Guard Card, and have 2+ years of security experience, preferably with military or law enforcement background.

Qualifications

• Must be a current TX-DPS Guard Cardholder.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2+ years of Security Experience.
• Preferred: Military and/or Law Enforcement Experience.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Protect the client and assigned property from criminal activity.
• Remain vigilant and observe surroundings for any suspicious behavior.
• Assist in detaining individuals if necessary.

SST is looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills, and previous surveillance experience. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations while exhibiting patience and superb attention to detail.
