Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a security professional for first, second, and third shifts in Urbana, IL. This hourly position covers 6a-2p, 2p-10p, and 10p-6a to protect facilities, assets, and personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience in security, law enforcement, or criminology. We offer competitive benefits, training, and opportunities for growth.

• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement and/or a college degree in criminology/criminal justice.

Scope of the Position

This is an hourly security position working first shift 6a-2p, second shift 2p-10p and third shift working 10p-6a.

Responsibilities

• Automobile assists, (jump-starts/unlocks)
• Access control
• Investigations & report writing
• Monitor & record CCTV system
• Monitor time clock activities
• Inclement weather assistance
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have HS degree or GED.
• Must be able to lift 60+ pounds.
• Must be able to remain in elements for extended periods of time.
• Must perform walking patrols.
• Must have valid Indiana/Illinois Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Must have clean criminal record.
• Must have security, military, or law enforcement experience and/or a college degree in criminology/criminal justice.
