Job summary

Liberty Community Programs is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. You will monitor premises, conduct patrols, and ensure a safe environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will stay calm in emergencies, communicate clearly, and document incidents. Must be able to work nights and weekends, pass background checks and drug screening. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) and flexible schedule. Salary is $15.03 - $17.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to maintain security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbance calls, and emergencies, following established protocols.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities and observations.
• Support clients and staff while ensuring compliance with safety policies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed in the event of incidents or emergencies.
