Job summary

GDI Security Services is hiring a Security Guard in the United States (Kentucky, Bowling Green). The role requires alert, reliable personnel to monitor premises, report details, and work with a team to maintain safety.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, inspecting entry points, and enforcing rules. Candidates must pass drug and background checks and may need licensing assistance where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, military, law enforcement or related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Fill out detailed reports and review them.
• Operate and annotate events with the provided software.
• Conduct thorough security checks of doors, windows, and gates.
• Warn violators and enforce premise rules.
• Escalate issues such as fire hazards or leaks to appropriate personnel.
• Request emergency services for high-risk situations.
• Patrol the property and coordinate with the team.

Pay Rate:

$15.57 per hour

Shift Hours:

7:00am - 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license!
