Position:

Armed & Unarmed Security Guards

Location:

San Diego, CA and surrounding San Diego County areas

Pay:

$20.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on position, qualifications, experience, and assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security services at assigned client locations
• Maintain a visible security presence and help deter unauthorized or suspicious activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding property as assigned
• Conduct routine patrols
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety concerns, and incidents
• Follow client site procedures and post orders
• Document incidents and complete required reports
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, guests, visitors, and members of the public
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies within the scope of training and company procedures
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and prepared for every scheduled shift
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing ODI
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Applicants must beprofessional, punctual, dependable, and able to communicate effectively.

Candidates must provide the following as applicable to the position:

• Professional bio/headshot photo
• Copy of valid California Guard Card
• Valid driver's license
• CCW and/or required firearm credentials for armed positions
• Any additional permits, certifications, or licenses required for the assigned position

Previous military, law enforcement, security, or related experience is a plus but may not be required for every assignment.

Candidates should also be able to work independently, follow instructions, remain alert throughout their shift, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with clients.

Armed Security Applicants

Candidates applying for armed assignments must possess allcurrent California licenses, permits, certifications, and credentials legally required to perform armed private-security workand must meet ODI and client requirements for the specific assignment.
