Job summary

Care Pavilion Nursing and Rehab in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to safeguard residents, staff, and visitors. You will patrol the facility, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to emergencies, and assist with escorting individuals as needed.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, remains vigilant, and works well in a team to maintain a safe, compassionate environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; BLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification a plus.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the facility to deter unauthorized access and ensure resident safety.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
• Respond to alarms, calls, and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular security checks of doors, windows, and gates.
• Escort residents and staff to destinations as needed and provide assistance.
• Maintain records of security incidents and observations.
• Collaborate with Nursing/Social Services to support a seamless care experience.

• Respond to alarms, calls, and emergency situations promptly and professionally
• Conduct regular security checks, including inspections of doors, windows, and gates
• Provide assistance to residents and staff members as needed, including escorting individuals to their destinations
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and observations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Nursing and Social Services, to ensure a seamless and efficient care experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification a plus
