Job summary

Renfrew Center of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Security Guard for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00p–6:30a) to patrol premises, screen visitors, and ensure safety for patients, families, and staff. The role involves responding to incidents, coordinating with authorities, and supporting maintenance tasks in a clinical environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of security experience, strong communication skills, and a Level 2 background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in security, preferably in medical settings.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the grounds and secure the property.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Screen visitors, greet and assist patients and families with baggage upon admission.
• Sound alarms and notify authorities as necessary.
• Identify and report irregularities using proper communication channels.
• Perform light janitorial tasks as needed.
• Assist with maintenance/handyman work of the facility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Patrolling the grounds and securing property.
• Monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Screening visitors, greeting and assisting patients and families with their luggage upon admission.
• Sounding alarm and notifying proper authorities as necessary.
• Using appropriate communication channels to identify and report irregularities.
• Performing light janitorial tasks as needed.
• Helping with Maintenance/Handy Man Work of facility.

Requirements

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in security required, preferably in a medical/hospital setting.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are also a must.

Hours:

3rd Shift - Monday - Friday (10:00p - 6:30a)
