Sbhonline is seeking a Security Guard for our on-site location in Somerset, NJ. The role involves ensuring safety through monitoring and patrolling the premises while adhering to security protocols.

This position offers part-time work with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance. Candidates must possess a valid NJ SORA II License and demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA II) License required.
• Previous law enforcement experience preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Computer literacy ideal but not necessary.
• Physical capacity for extended periods of standing and walking around the facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow proper procedures when coming in for or leaving a shift.
• Survey and patrol company premises to ensure safety of all employees.
• Track and monitor security cameras to safeguard product and prevent suspicious activity.
• Document and note security incidents according to procedures.
• Report incidences of suspicious activity immediately.
• Record all visitors or guests ensuring they log in and out.
• Contact emergency authorities in case of crime or emergency.

Schedule: Monday: 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday: 9:00am to 6:00pm, Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm

As a Security Guard you will bring a background and knowledge of safeguarding products, best practices for surveillance, and an ability to handle situations with care and confidentiality. You will be responsible for ensuring employees follow correct procedures when entering or exiting the worksite for a shift as well as patrolling the premises to ensure the safety of our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow proper procedures when coming in for or leaving a shift.
• Survey and patrol company premises to ensure the safety of all employees.
• Track and monitor security cameras to ensure product is safeguarded and prevent suspicious activity.
• Follow proper company procedures for documenting and noting security incidents.
• Report any incidences of suspicious activity immediately to the proper management teams.
• Record all visitors or guests, ensuring they properly log in and out of the facility.
• Contact emergency authorities immediately if a crime is committed or an emergency happens.
