Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment by enforcing company policies and procedures. The role involves checking IDs, logging visitors, patrolling the plant, monitoring cameras, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, responding to incidents and evacuations, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety protocols.

• Must complete compliance of authorized entries for sanitation employees.

Responsibilities

• Check ID cards of all persons entering the plant area.
• Log all visitors in and out.
• Patrol assigned area on foot or in a company vehicle, checking for unauthorized persons, safety hazards, contraband, and policy violations.
• Monitor parked vehicles and issue parking tickets if noncompliant.
• Monitor foot traffic for non-employees and remove loiterers or suspicious persons.
• Control traffic and assist in any evacuation of the processing plant.
• Maintain telephone by relaying messages or transferring calls.
• Complete and maintain all required logs and reports.
• Check property removal slips and chicken orders.
• Investigate automobile accidents in the parking areas.
• Remove terminated or unauthorized persons from company property.
• Customer service as necessary.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement.
• Review camera footage to monitor all locations throughout the complex.
• Operate the security company vehicle within state laws and company policy.

Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure work environment for all Team Members by enforcing company policies and procedures.
