Job summary

Parkwest Casino is looking for a Security Guard to help create a safe environment for guests and staff. You will monitor security, understand basic card room games, and provide exceptional guest service across diverse cultures.

Requirements include a valid BSIS Guard Card, ability to operate surveillance, report writing, chip counting, and US work eligibility. Must be 21+, with CA Guard Card, and available for evenings/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
• Proof of U.S. employment eligibility.
• Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background, and credit check.

To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a security guard. Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and bend at the neck for six or more hours a day
• Repetitive use of hands for actions such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift
• Potential exposure to excessive noise, dust, gases, flames, chemicals, extreme temperatures, humidity, or wetness
• Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
