Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a security-facing role at our Texas facility to manage access, perimeter security, and incident support. The job involves coordinating with incident teams and performing safety orientations for visitors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
• Must pass and complete Safety training/certification as required by customers to work in their facilities and as required by Kinder Morgan at all locations
• Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones; such as background checks by both the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security, i.e. obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
• The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed
• PC literacy and software navigation skills in a window-based environment are essential
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with all levels of management

What You Need

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous chemical, refining or terminal experience is preferred

Working Conditions:

• Must be willing to work in outdoors environmentMust be willing to work overtime with little or no notice during the week, weekends, holidays, etc as dictated by operations
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including day, night, weekends and holidays
• In order to perform the essential duties, regular work attendance is required
