Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago is seeking a Security Guard to provide basic security services under supervision, ensuring compliance with laws and university regulations.
Duties include patrolling offices and open spaces, monitoring access, reporting incidents, and performing related tasks. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., on-site; salary range $17.00-$18.00 per hour, with benefits through state programs.

Under regular supervision, provides basic security services in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of Northeastern Illinois University and the Northeastern Illinois University Police department, in compliance with all governing federal and state laws, and university regulations.
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid/current Illinois driver's license.
3. No record of conviction of a felony, or of a crime involving moral turpitude.
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Hours may vary depending on departmental needs)
NEIU - El Centro (3390 N. Avondale, Chicago, IL 60618) (On Occasion, may travel to other campus locations: 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 and 700 E. Oakwood Ave. Chicago, IL 66053)
