Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard our community by patrolling the grounds and buildings and monitoring the gatehouse. The role supports residents and staff across various shifts to maintain safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/AED/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain them within 3 months, plus a valid driver's license and flexibility to pick up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience preferred.
• CPR, AED, First Aid certification required or obtainable within 3 months.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Availability to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor the gatehouse and access points.
• Provide support during morning/evening and day/night hours for residents and team members.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures the security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. Provides support during the morning/evening and day/night hours for residents and team members.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience is preferred
• CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Availability to pick up additional shifts as needed

Pay Range

$17.00 - $21.29 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
