Job summary

Stellar Senior Living’s Montebello on Academy in Albuquerque is seeking a diligent Security Guard to protect residents, staff, and property. You will monitor entrances, patrol grounds, and respond to incidents with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively and cooperate with others.
• Detail-oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in defense of life or property.
• Take notes of unusual occurrences and develop leadership reports.
• Report suspicious incidents in detail (verbal and written).
• Patrol building and perimeter regularly.
• Monitor and control access at entrances and gates.
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate equipment.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
