Job summary

Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Governance Analyst II under the Director, Information Security Operations. You will develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, baselines, and guidelines to safeguard enterprise assets and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

This role leads PCI efforts, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, identifies risks, and develops security metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in information security, technology, statistics, mathematics, or related field
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in documentation, procedures and/or policies of information technology, information systems, risk management, controls audit, vendor management, data privacy or information security
• Experience with Casino and Tribal government technology and security goals strongly preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CCPA/CPRA) and translating them into controls and policies

Responsibilities

• Create and review security policies and standards aligned with business objectives and data protection requirements
• Lead PCI efforts, track remediation of control gaps, and support compliance objectives
• Engage with business units to identify risks and track mitigation plans
• Develop metrics for executive risk reporting dashboards
• Explain policies and procedures to stakeholders across the enterprise
• Assist in vendor risk management and intake/review processes
• Contribute to training and awareness initiatives with leaders and system owners
• Perform other duties to support departmental operations
