Job summary

Titan Security is hiring Security Officers to work Gates & Docks at an industrial location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role includes patrolling, enforcing access control, and monitoring CCTV to deter risks and ensure safety.

Starting at $16.75 per hour, with paid time off, holidays, and benefits; opportunities for growth and career development. Must pass background and drug screenings; able to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card.
• Ability to meet physical essential functions (lifting up to 75 lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Patrol the industrial lot to deter criminal activity and maintain high visibility.
• Check IDs, access passes, and ensure only authorized personnel enter/exit.
• Verify vehicle identifications, registrations, and control access per protocols.
• Inspect paperwork for semi trucks and direct them to the correct Gate.
• Conduct Marsec vehicle inspections.
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols to identify security violations or hazards.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required.
• Monitor CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity or breaches.
• Maintain a detailed log of trucks entering or leaving (company, driver, truck ID, cargo, delivery/pickup).
• Observe for suspicious behavior, loitering, or theft/vandalism indicators.
• Immediately report security breaches or emergencies and document incidents thoroughly.

Titan Security is hiring Security officers to work Gates & Docks at an industrial location in Cleveland, Ohio.

Duties may include:

• Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Ensure that individuals attempting to enter the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
• Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles are entering or exiting the lot by checking identification, vehicle registration, or other access control protocols.
• Checking semi trucks paperwork and directing them to the proper Gate.
• Conduct Marsec vehicle inspections.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Continuously monitor CCTV cameras placed around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or any security breaches.
• Keep a detailed log of all trucks entering or leaving the premises, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pick-up details.
• Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering individuals, or any signs of illegal activities such as theft and vandalism.
• Immediately report any security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document the incident thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to obtain an Ohio Guard Card.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.

Preferred Certifications:

NRC Certification.
