Job summary

Qualifications

• DoW 8140 or DoW 8570 certs (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, Linux+ or SSCP)
• BS degree or 3 years hands-on RHEL admin experience
• Linux system administration, CLI, user management, package patching
• Experience applying DISA STIGs to RHEL with SCC/OpenSCAP
• PKI certificate installation and PAM/SSSD authentication knowledge

Responsibilities

• Remediate security findings from ACAS/Tenable/OpenSCAP on RHEL 8/9 systems
• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs, CTOs, and IAVM notices
• Configure and enforce SELinux in enforcing mode
• Manage central identity, PAM/SSSD, and DoW PKI/CAC authentication for users
• Configure host-based firewalls and audit daemon logging per DoW requirements
• Use YUM/DNF and Red Hat Satellite to deploy security updates
• Develop Bash and Ansible playbooks to automate STIG hardening
• Document mitigation strategies and POA&M for vulnerabilities
• Compile evidence for CORA inspection teams
