Job summary

ASM Global is hiring a Security Floor Agent for the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The role provides security protection through patrol, observation, and reporting, with a $500 signing bonus after 30 days and another $500 after 90 days.

The first shift runs 6:30am–3:00pm, with compensation starting at $22.50 per hour. The position requires high school level education and security experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under varying conditions, including weekends and

Responsibilities

• Provide guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons.

• Perform foot and vehicle patrols of property.
• Inspect and report on facilities safety and security compliance.
• Investigate and report incidents including damage or injury to the facility or employees.
• Ensure POD compliance on patrols.
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $22.50 at time of hire with increase to $23.00 after 90 days of service.

Shift: 1st shift: 630am-3pm

General Summary:

This position provides security protection to employees, staff, and property through patrol, observation, and reporting procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons
• Carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols of property.
• Inspect and report on facilities compliance with safety and security procedures
• Investigate and report on incidents including damage/injury to the facility or employees
• Assure POD compliance on patrols
• Self-motivated, with the ability to accomplish tasks without direct supervision
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• One to three years security experience in a large facility preferred

Position requires physical ability to patrol and inspect the facility ground and buildings; up to 3/4 walking and 1/4 siting. Position requires climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling; may be subject to adverse working conditions, dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc., including weather; may require use of an electric cart; May be exposed to physical confrontations. Subject to adverse weather conditions. A, B, or C shift work as assigned. Must possess the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds to desk level. Irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required; determined by event schedule and/or department need. Requires radio usage of a two-way hand-held radio.
