Job summary

Legends Global at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver seeks a Security Floor Agent to safeguard staff and guests through patrols and vigilance. The role reports to the Security Manager and operates on the 1st shift, 630am–3pm, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

The position offers a $22.50 starting hourly wage, increases after 90 days, an array of health, dental, vision, retirement matching, and training reimbursements designed to support long-term employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One to three years security experience in a large facility is preferred.
• City and County of Denver Security Guard License is required.
• Colorado Driver License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons.
• Carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary.
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols of property.
• Inspect and report on facilities compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Investigate and report on incidents including damage or injury to the facility or employees.
• Ensure POD compliance on patrols.
• Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks without direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $22.50 at time of hire with increase to $23.00 after 90 days of service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED, preferred

Irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required; determined by event schedule and/or department need. Requires radio usage of a two-way hand-held radio.
