Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC. The role involves guarding client sites across industries, with an emphasis on flexible shifts and irregular scheduling to support client needs.

You will work 30–40 hours per week, with shifts changing week to week under our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program, providing hands-on experience and opportunities for advancement within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Maintain post logs and write incident reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
• Protect company property and monitor access.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
