Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Flex Officer at a tech campus in Cupertino, CA. The role offers flexible shifts and uses our exclusive shift-pickup platform to build a schedule around your availability while protecting client property.

Pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Requirements include a California Security Guard Card, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to adapt to schedule changes. This is an onsite position at a dynamic tech site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid California Driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Must use a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
