Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide reliable, customer-focused security at a designated site with the option to pick up extra shifts. The role offers flexible hours, with anchor shifts and a path toward fuller-time opportunities within the industry leader.

The position pays $17.00 per hour, with a fixed Tue 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM shift and the potential to earn more through additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Lincensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative locations, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations following established reporting/escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing passengers and visitors, providing general information, and supporting an orderly environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Property Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing passengers and visitors, providing general information, and supporting an orderly environment at assigned transit locations.

Minimum Requirements:
