Job summary

Allied Universal in Plano, TX seeks a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Integrity to provide frontline security services at a technology site. You will have a fixed anchor shift and may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

This role offers flexible scheduling, growth toward full-time positions, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum requirements include a guard card, a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, communicating observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Job Title: Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Integrity

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Rate: $25.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
