Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer. The Security Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and other sectors.

You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across industries. The position offers hands-on security experience with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and requires either a high school diploma or 5+ years of verifiable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years verifiable security experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21 if armed where required.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to handle multiple posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
