The schedule includes Wednesdays 9:00 AM - 4:15 PM. Candidates must have a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas, be at least 21, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations per site procedures.
• Maintain armed-post qualifications and complete accurate activity and incident documentation.

As a Armed Flex Security Officer - Retail Center in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed: 09:00 AM - 04:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required armed‑post qualifications, follow applicable laws and Allied Universal policies, and complete accurate activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
