Allied Universal® is seeking an Armed Flex Security Officer - Part Time Patrol in San Antonio, TX, to provide reliable security coverage with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour with part-time hours designed for flexibility and income stability. The role includes guarding a retail location, conducting armed patrols, and responding to incidents in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Level III Armed Guard Card and valid drivers license required.
• Part-time role with fixed shifts and scope to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while following store policies and security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with management and first responders as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations, and complete accurate incident documentation.
• Support emergency response activities and coordination with location management and Allied Universal personnel.

As a Armed Flex Security Officer - Part Time Patrolin San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while carrying out security‑related procedures and location‑specific policies at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security‑related concerns, and complete accurate incident documentation.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with location management, Allied Universal personnel, and/or first responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
