Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 3–7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Azure AB-900, and M365 Fundamentals are desirable.
• Experience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS or similar defense frameworks is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High environments is a plus.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, and network security fundamentals.
• Strong Office 365 administration and endpoint management; MFA/2FA implementation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal point of contact for IT issues, coordinating with MSP.
• Drive IT initiatives to optimize workflows and accelerate deployments.
• Maintain IT policies, disaster recovery procedures, and user training materials.
• Deliver and operationalize AI/LLM use cases (enterprise search, summarization, agent workflows, document Q&A).
• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases.
• Lead IT project planning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and account provisioning in Microsoft 365 GCC High and networks.
• Maintain access controls and conduct periodic security audits.
• Provision, configure, and deploy laptops, workstations, and hardware.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and lifecycle management.
• Develop, document, and optimize troubleshooting procedures.
• Oversee LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPNs, and remote access infrastructure.
• Support security practices to ensure DoD/industry compliance; assist with CMMC controls.
