Job summary

Bridge Analytics is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer, Infrastructure Lead to own our cloud foundation on Google Cloud Platform. You will codify the live platform into infrastructure-as-code, define reliability and security perimeters, and set the technical direction for a security-first TRE-like environment used by researchers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production cloud platforms at scale.
• GCP IAM, networking, GKE, Cloud Run, and Composer in production.
• Expertise with Terraform/CDKTF and Python; strong CI/CD and containerization.
• Experience owning security perimeters (IAM, VPC Service Controls, DLP) in regulated environments.
• Experience with HIPAA/HITRUST or similar regulated environments.
• Proven ability to direct contractor or consultant resources without a large direct team.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own cloud foundation for Bridge Analytics Environment (BAE) on Google Cloud.
• Set technical direction, codify live platform into infrastructure-as-code, ensure reliability and security.
• Define SLOs/SLIs, build observability, runbooks, and incident response with contractor support.
• Manage security perimeter including exfiltration controls and audit logging.
• Automate access lifecycle and scale onboarding for researchers across multi-study portfolio.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliant, auditable environments.
