Security Field Service Manager - Now Hiring!

Location: Bloomington, IL

Pay: $48K-$50K/year

The Field Service Manager (FSM) supports the District Manager (DM) with afterhours/overnight support for the daily business functions. The FSM performs site inspections and ensures that post orders are being followed. They will provide support to employees and clients after business hours. The FSM will help the DM by making weekly schedule adjustments, payroll support, training, development and retention of high-caliber staff, and provide correction action as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Manage a shift and/or segment of guarding operations at multiple sites, including supervision of subordinate officers and supervisory staff; ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure service expectations are met through afterhours/weekend support; evaluate service quality, inspect posts, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Meet with management and client representatives for updates and issue resolution; support during client start-ups; contribute to security planning, assessments, and surveys; review post orders and communicate changes.
• Coordinate with management on staff orientation, training, development, and retention; ensure staff are treated with dignity and respect; coach and discipline employees as necessary.
• Maintain and submit payroll and other employee/business records; review reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment in compliance with laws, policies, and procedures; ensure staff understanding and adherence.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, equipment, and record-keeping with management; adjust staffing to meet client needs and control costs; review reports for compliance.
• Perform similar tasks as required for the role.

Minimum Hiring Standards:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable communication means (cell phone).
• Reliable transportation (public or private).
• Valid driver’s license in the resident state/country.
• Legal right to work in the country.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• High School diploma, secondary education, or GED.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.
• Current Private Security Authority (PSA) License.

Education/Experience:

Associate’s Degree and 1 year of security operations experience, or equivalent education and experience; additional relevant experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
