Raptive is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to own and advance the security program across applications and platform infrastructure. You will lead with hands-on expertise while guiding engineers, partnering with SRE and product teams, and delivering practical security outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

In this player/coach role, you will set strategy, drive architecture and governance, and align security with business goals.

Qualifikationen

• Experience owning significant parts of an information security program and delivering strategic improvements and hands-on work.
• Broad security experience across cloud, infrastructure, application, data, identity, and corporate environments.
• Experience partnering with SRE, platform, and software engineering teams to embed security into delivery workflows.
• Strong technical judgment in monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, and risk prioritization.
• Thrives in fast-moving, resource-conscious environments with initiative and ownership.
• Clear and credible communication of security strategy, risk, and delivery status to executives.
• Collaborative player/coach mindset: willing to do the work directly and raise the bar for others.

Aufgaben

• Own the security program end to end: strategy, architecture, policies, risk management, cadence, and a measurable roadmap.
• Collaborate with SRE to design and operate secure cloud and infrastructure foundations, including IAM, logging, and incident readiness.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve application and product security through secure design and threat modeling.
• Lead security assurance activities, including third-party risk and audits such as SOC 2, focusing on effective controls.
• Coach engineers and partners to make sound security decisions and raise the organization’s security capability.
• Communicate security vision, risk, and delivery progress to executives and stakeholders with business impact.
• Align application and platform security controls to drive unified standards and shared tooling.
• Drive shift-left security in the SDLC in partnership with Engineering and Product.
• Mature vulnerability management and remediation workflows, triage, risk-based prioritization, and integration with engineering processes.
• Represent the Security Engineering function in roadmap decisions and security investments.
