Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced security engineering leader to deliver complex, highly available software solutions and guide architectural decisions. You will collaborate with senior engineers and product partners to design scalable, secure systems, coach engineers, and drive operational security initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security roles, strong threat modeling and pen-testing skills, and proven team leadership in a large enterprise environment

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams focused on tactical and operational security activities.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Practical management and leadership knowledge to manage multiple teams and drive operational security initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Implements software architecture and engineering approaches for complex initiatives with major impact on results.
• Adopts and refines advanced software engineering standards and governance mechanisms.
• Collaborates with senior engineers and product partners to shape technology approaches.
• Leads end-to-end technical design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions.
• Independently troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Provides ongoing technical guidance and training to other engineers.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and builds prototypes for new features.
• Contributes to long-term technical goals and plans for the area.
• Leads large initiatives ensuring cohesive, high-quality outcomes with limited supervision.
