Job summary

HelloFresh in the United States is seeking a SOC Engineer to join HelloConnect team to strengthen security logging and monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments. You will build and optimize use-cases, triage alerts, and drive incident response improvements.

You’ll work with AWS-based SIEM/SOAR, EDR/EPP, IDS/IPS, and various defense tooling, contribute to playbooks, and report status to stakeholders via Jira. A proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced global team will excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mature SOC environments.
• Security monitoring and incident response experience in AWS.
• Experience with cloud SIEM & SOAR platforms and perimeter security controls.
• Understanding of network intrusion methods, IDS/IPS, and containment techniques.
• Ability to operate EDR, EPP, and Device Management solutions following best practices.
• Decent programming skills to enable data processing and security automations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Open to working on-call in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOC monitoring, use-case building, triage and advisory using cloud-native SIEM platforms.
• Conduct initial triage of security events and incidents and document progress throughout the Incident Response Lifecycle.
• Automate, optimize, and operate modern security solutions like EDR/EPPs, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Email Security, VPN, and MDM tools.
• Leverage threat intel feeds to regularly sweep environments against rising APT campaigns.
• Prepare status reports and follow up with stakeholders through Jira and Incident Mgmt. Platform.
