The Opportunity:

Join CACI as a Security Engineer (SME) to lead cybersecurity efforts within the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) team for USSTRATCOM. You will design and implement zero trust security strategies, analyze complex security issues, and produce architectural artifacts compliant with UAF and DoDAF standards to support mission-critical initiatives. Leveraging expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), network segmentation, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF), you will deliver high-impact solutions in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. The work location is Omaha, Nebraska, with the position contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements network security solutions focusing on Zero Trust Reference Architecture (ZTRA)
  • Analyzes complex security issues and develops effective solutions
  • Communicates and presents security concepts and recommendations effectively
  • Designs, implements, and advises on zero trust security strategies and architecture, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network segmentation, and continuous monitoring
  • Produces cybersecurity architectural artifacts and documentation
  • Conducts Security Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
  • Uses the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in security practices
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments
  • May supervise others

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education/Experience: BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Required 8140 Certification: 652 - Intermediate (e.g., CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, GSEC)
  • Required Certification: Must possess one of the following certifications at the time of hire:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Certified Zero Trust Architect (CZTA)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead data engineering initiatives in fast-paced, mission-critical environments while managing multiple priorities.

  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,700 - $199,600
