Insight Global is seeking a remote Security Engineer for an opportunity based out of Louisville, KY. The Palo Alto Firewall Security Engineer will be responsible for managing Palo Alto Networks firewall solutions to secure the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal security and compliance with industry standards. This role involves leveraging IPS components, conducting vulnerability analysis, and providing operational support for Palo Alto Firewalls.

The engineer will continuously monitor network traffic for potential security threats and vulnerabilities, diagnose and resolve firewall-related issues to maintain network integrity and performance. Collaboration with other IT professionals is essential to integrate firewall solutions with other security measures and technologies. The role also includes maintaining detailed documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures, conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks, and providing training and support to team members and end-users on firewall functionalities and best practices.
