Job summary

Acacia, part of Cisco, is seeking a Security Engineer to join the IT Operations team in a global security posture role. You will own day-to-day operations covering identity security, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection, driving threat remediation and security standards across sites.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure and Network teams to strengthen PAM controls, develop runbooks, and advance incident response capabilities in a fast-paced technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience in security operations, infrastructure security, or identity management.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day security operations focusing on identity security, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection to ensure a resilient security posture for global operations.
• Manage the vulnerability lifecycle and triage security alerts to mitigate threats in real-time.
• Partner with Infrastructure and Network teams to enhance Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and refine security runbooks and operational procedures to ensure consistent, repeatable security standards across all sites.
