Job summary

TensorWave Inc. seeks a Security Engineer Intern to help build a brand-new Threat Modeling Program from scratch and protect our systems. You will learn risk management, audits, and governance while hands-on securing cloud and on-premise environments in Las Vegas.

You will craft automation scripts, work in lab environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.

Qualifications

• Two NV-based paths meet the role's requirements, including NV enrollment or NV degree/certificate progress.
• Demonstrated interest in security, networking, or computer science through labs or coursework.
• Ability to learn quickly and meet goals with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Help build a Threat Modeling program by identifying potential attacker paths.
• Assist with GRC activities including risk management and governance tasks.
• Support hybrid cloud and on-premise security at Las Vegas data centers.
• Troubleshoot network and security issues to find root causes.
• Write small automation scripts to streamline tasks.
• Participate in lab testing to identify vulnerabilities and patch suggestions.
