Job summary

CoStar Group seeks a Security Engineering Intern in Arlington, VA, offering an immersive experience in a large enterprise cybersecurity program. You’ll explore vulnerability management, endpoint security, threat detection, security controls, and AI security within three hands-on workstreams.

You’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor to support technical development and career growth throughout the 10-week program, with a Fri-work-from-home option and M-TH in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or IT with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Plan to return to school after Summer 2027 internship.
• Graduation date between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Available for the full 10-week internship, 40 hours per week.
• coursework or experience related to cybersecurity, networking, OS, cloud, scripting, automation.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in vulnerability management, endpoint security, and threat detection.
• Assist cyber operations by responding to alerts and tuning controls.
• Work with a dedicated mentor to develop cybersecurity skills.
